Using NickSymbol means accepting these terms. They are deliberately short: the tool is free, the names you make are yours, and the only real limits are that you must not abuse the service or pretend we are something we are not.

Who these terms are with
This site is operated by the NickSymbol editorial team. “We” and “us” below mean that team; “you” means anyone using the site. If you disagree with anything here, the remedy is simple — stop using the site.
What you may do with the names
Anything the generator produces is yours to use, with no attribution and no fee. Use it for a game handle, a social profile, a stream, a clan tag, a brand, a client project — personal or commercial, we draw no distinction.
We claim no ownership over generated output, and we could not claim any if we wanted to: the styled results are ordinary Unicode characters arranged by rule. Those characters are part of a public standard. Nobody owns “★” and neither do we.
The one thing that is ours is the site itself — its text, its images, its code and its name. Please do not copy the pages wholesale or present the tool as your own product.
Fair use of the service
The tool is free and unlimited for people. It is not an open API for machines. Specifically, do not:
- Send automated or bulk requests, scrape the pages, or drive the generator from a script. Requests are rate limited, and traffic that looks like harvesting gets blocked.
- Submit nicknames that are obscene, sexual, hateful, threatening, or that impersonate a real person or organisation.
- Use the site to harass anyone, or to build a name intended to deceive people into thinking they are dealing with someone else.
- Try to break, probe or overload the site, or to reach parts of it you were not given access to.
We filter submissions against a blocked-word list and we remove anything that gets past it. We can refuse or withdraw access to anyone who does the above, without notice and without owing an explanation.
Nicknames you submit
When you add a nickname to a community list, you are publishing it. It becomes visible to everyone who looks up that name, and other people may copy and use it — that is the whole purpose of the list.
By submitting, you confirm that the nickname is yours to share and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights, and you give us permission to display, store and distribute it on the site for as long as the entry exists. You keep whatever rights you had in it to begin with; we are not taking ownership, only permission to show it.
We may edit, reorder or remove any submission at any time, including for reasons as mundane as it not rendering properly. If you want something of yours taken down, ask us — the process is described on the privacy policy.
Non-affiliation and trademarks
NickSymbol is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any game, platform or company mentioned anywhere on it.
The symbols on this site are public Unicode characters; game and platform names are trademarks of their owners. Names such as Free Fire, PUBG Mobile and Instagram appear here only to describe where a nickname is meant to be pasted, and their appearance implies no relationship of any kind. If you own a mark and object to how it is referenced, write to us and we will look at it.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee any of the following, and you should not plan around them:
- That a platform will accept a name. Every game and app enforces its own rules on length, characters and content, and changes them without notice. A name that works today may be rejected tomorrow.
- That every character displays on every device. Whether a symbol renders depends on the fonts installed where it is pasted, which is outside our control.
- That using a decorated name is allowed where you use it. Some services prohibit it and some enforce that with bans. Read their rules; we are not a substitute for them.
- That the site is always up, or that community submissions are accurate or inoffensive. They come from visitors, not from us.
To the fullest extent the law where you live allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site — including a rejected or reverted name, a suspended or banned account, a wasted rename card or purchase, or lost time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are untouched by anything on this page.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to sources or official documentation elsewhere. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or do with your data once you leave.
Changes to the site and to these terms
We add, change and retire features as the tool develops, and these terms change with it. When they do, the date at the top moves. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version; we do not keep a signed record of anyone’s agreement, because there are no accounts to attach one to.
Governing law and disputes
These terms do not designate a single country’s law or a specific court. NickSymbol is published online rather than from a public place of business, and we would rather resolve a problem directly than through a forum clause. Whatever the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence gives you continues to apply to you in full.
If something goes wrong, email us first. Nearly everything — a takedown, a correction, a complaint about a submission — is settled in a message or two.
